I regularly attend events and concerts at Worplesdon View Care Home. It is always a brilliant day out because everything is organized so well, the staff are fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful."

"I had a spell in hospital. My daughter persuaded my to go into restbite, I said I would only go into Worplesdon View, as my darling husband was in there for 5 months and the loving kindness that was shown was above & beyond. The chef is amazing and the carers make you feel at home. Nicola the manager is so welcoming Marta & Tab very welcoming."

Worplesdon View is a very welcoming home, the staff are friendly and the building and facilities are looking amazing following the refurbishment!

I was recently invited to come to Worplesdon View to give a talk for International Women's Day. I was made to feel so welcome by the staff and the residents and was so comfortable there. It felt like I was coming in for a chat with good friends! All the residents I spoke with said how much they valued the staff and how well they were looked after. The space I was in was beautifully decorated, homely and pristine. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning there and would love to return again soon! Thanks again for having me! Sarah x

I visit many care homes as part of my job (Driving Miss Daisy) and regularly take a lady to see her husband who has recently been moved to this Barchester.

I have been so impressed by the friendly staff, attention to detail, making everyone feel so welcome.

I must however commend one particular carer known as Maggi who has been absolutely incredible going above and beyond her call of duty, she is like an earth angel and those she cares for are indeed blessed to have her look after them. Thank you Maggi for all you do it has not gone unnoticed you are an absolute superstar ⭐️⭐️⭐️

If ever you want the best for a loved one this is the place I would recommend to anyone, sadly I am the last in my family otherwise I would have no hesitation in sending a family member here.

Congratulations to all of you, from front of house, to carers, to kitchen staff to all who work in this outstanding place.

Worplesdon View arranged a lovely family 97th birthday party for my mum this morning. They made a chocolate brownie cake which is my mum’s favourite😋. Many thanks to Raz (the activity coordinator) and to the chef.

In addition to the party today, the care home is absolutely brilliant and all the staff are wonderful… I thoroughly recommend the home.

Always welcomed with a smile from Marta at reception to all the cheerful carers and staff. Visits to see my mother are always pleasant affairs the events team are a great edition to enhancing the wellbeing of residents and help to create interactive stimulating and fun activities. I was particularly taken when I took my father to visit mother on his 92nd birthday last December and Rom without any thought nipped out the back and produced a bottle of fizz for my father a simple touch but going beyond what one would expect.My mother a sociable character is well looked after I have full confidence the team do their very best for her as relatives and friends of residents we are all participating in a journey together thanks Worplesdon View you have a great team and Nicola the general manager is doing a fantastic job.

There is such a constant variety of activities for the Residents and over Christmas a lot of work went into making so many extra happy activities during Christmas and making sure everyone could join in including relatives and friends too."

All of the staff (including the General Manager) are very welcoming, caring, compassionate and professional and the facilities and overall cleanliness of the home are excellent. When my Dad had to sadly go into a nursing home, my Mum and I knew instantly that Worplesdon View was the one for him. When we came to view we immediately could sense what a wonderful place it was. The room was just perfect for him in every way. From day one all the staff were so welcoming to us all and made sure we knew that this was our home too and we could come and visit at any time. The staff took the time to get to know my Dad and to understand his little ways - and how to get round them ! The care is first class, as is the food. The cakes and treats in the cafe were always a delight. Nicola, the new manager, has been an amazing addition to the staff. When it came to my Dad's passing, the staff treated us, and him, with so much respect and care. Giving us the time and space we needed. They were also incredibly supportive. Thank you to every single member of staff at Worplesdon View who helped make a difficult time all the more bearable.

The quality of care at all levels has been remarkable, and the members of the care team in particular cannot be praised highly enough for their commitment and enthusiasm. "My stepmum has been in this lovely welcoming care home for nearly 9months, and absolutely loves it. The staff from reception, management, nurses and carers do an absolute amazing job by looking after their residents and relatives, I always feel at home there. The entertainment staff do a fantastic job making sure they cater for everyone from tv programmes to live entertainment and just having fun. Everyone who work's at the care home have their own jobs and they all help each other out as well. The residents are lovely I try and talk to them when I visit, some of them we have a laugh together and it's lovely."
